You see the Vegas odds and Over Under all the time, however they never show the score of both teams. You will just see something like New England is favored by 10 with an over under of 50. But what does Vegas say New England will score and what about their opponent?
I will show you how to do that.

to get the score, depending on if the favorite is on the left, or the road team or if the spread is positive or negative.
However, the way to figure out the score is to start off with the over under. For this example, let’s say it is 50.
Next, we need to subtract out the point spread. So if New England is favored by 10 over the Bills, then we take 10 away from 50 and get 40.
Then, we split the 40 in half. Each team gets 20. So New England has 20 and so do the Bills.
Finally, we add the point spread to favored team, which is New England in this case. So that puts New England to 30.
So when we look at this score, it is New England 30 and Buffalo Bills 20. Add them up it gives you 50 which is the over under and New England is 10 more points than the Bills.
This would be how you get your score that Vegas predicts.
When figuring this out in Excel, you only need to figure out the one side. Then with the other team, we just subtract that first side from the over under to get the second team’s score.
